The path was not obvious
I’m a first-generation professional who built a leadership career without a college degree, inherited network, or reliable map of how institutions worked. I learned by paying attention—to incentives, power, language, visibility, and the difference between what organizations say and what they actually reward.
Over more than fifteen years in service and operations leadership, I progressed from frontline work into senior leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President and Director. My responsibilities included leading organizations of more than 120 people, developing leaders, and improving customer operations. That work taught me how to connect strategy with day-to-day execution, make decisions under pressure, and balance the needs of people with the demands of performance.
That experience did not give me a perfect formula. It gave me pattern recognition—and a responsibility to make the patterns visible to people who were never given the language for them.
